Cindy Ahern
House Flipper & DIY Queen
Cindy is originally a California girl who transplanted to Kentucky for her husband Mike’s job. While working as a manager in retail, Cindy has helped numerous family, friends and clients with organizing and redecorating their homes, offices, outdoor spaces, and even throwing tons of events and parties! In 2010, she began a house flipping business called @FlipGirlCindy. She works through projects, one demo at a time, wearing her pink tool belt.
Cindy is a widow, currently living in Louisville, Kentucky. She enjoys travel, concerts, Pilates, and entertaining family and friends at her backyard pool. She volunteers at a local church assembling food boxes for families in need as well as assisting with everything from choosing paint colors for their new facility to organizing many spaces. She is very proud of her 2 grown sons, 2 beautiful daughters-in-law and 2 adorable Grandsons, with one more on the way!
Sylvia Ferrer-McGrade
Chaos Coordinator & Design Guru
Sylvia worked in education as a kindergarten teacher, literacy specialist and principal. Although she didn’t know it at the time, organizing teaching materials, hosting school events and even building a new school brought out her passion of creating systems for playrooms, decluttering closets for family and friends. as well as entertaining at their home (including two backyard weddings!).
Sylvia and her husband, Paul, live in San Diego, CA. They enjoy taking trips together, playing Pickleball, and gardening. She volunteers as Auxiliary Co-Facilitator for Hidden Valley House, an emergency shelter, organizing fund raisers along with updating the community kitchen and resident units. Sylvia and Paul love spending time with their son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter in Virginia and daughter, son-in-law, and 2 granddaughters in Murrieta, with one more baby girl on the way!
